Search-box entries, such as a name, phone number, or address, go to the outside provider that delivers the search results. Our servers do not keep a copy of those queries. A contact message contains only the information the sender chooses to include and is used to respond.

Hosting systems may create routine logs, including IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps operate and improve the service. Cookies or comparable tools can support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links lead to County and State records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Information submitted on those services is governed by their own privacy terms. Sponsored-result tools are also provided by an outside company.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
Visitors may ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information the service holds. Because the service retains very little, a request normally involves reviewing contact messages and applicable logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Ohio government records are controlled by their official custodians under the Ohio Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, so a removal or correction request for such a record must go to the office that keeps it.
